Matt spent 15 years in the corporate world teaching process improvement and project management before founding Let's Fly VR — where aviation and education finally came together the way he always knew they could. Getting to bring that into a classroom setting, especially with kids, is something he says he doesn't take for granted. What he loves most is watching kids light up and parents get excited alongside them as they pursue their dreams and make cool memories along the way.

His teaching style is supportive, collaborative, and fun — and he wants every student to walk away feeling capable, not just interested. There's a big difference between someone who thinks aviation is cool and someone who leaves believing they could actually pursue it. Matt is after the latter. Students say his class is "an experience like no other" — and that tracks.

 

Some kids step into the simulator expecting a cool video game and within minutes realize the controls actually respond, the physics matter, and they have to think. Those who lean in quickly discover how powerful it is to get real flight training without any of the real-world consequences of getting it wrong at 3,000 feet.
